The product

Fieldbench is a Windows desktop application for serial and Modbus debugging. The Free edition is free forever within its published limits. Pro is a one-time purchase: a perpetual license for the 1.x version line, including all 1.x updates. The AI assistant is an optional subscription with monthly usage quotas.

Your license

• One Pro key may be activated on up to 2 devices at a time, used by the person (or the seat) that bought it. Move devices anytime at fieldbench.app/devices.
• Activation is offline-capable and the app performs no license phone-home after activation. In return, don't share keys publicly or resell activations — keys found leaked get revoked for new activations.
• Team? Buy a key per seat, or email [email protected] for volume invoicing.

Payments

All checkout, invoicing, VAT/sales tax and refunds are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Ltd / Paddle.com Inc.) as merchant of record — Paddle's buyer terms apply to the transaction itself. Refunds: 30 days, no questions.

Sensible disclaimers

Fieldbench talks to live industrial equipment when you tell it to — writes, slave simulation and bus transmissions are under your control and at your judgment. The software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind; to the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is capped at what you paid for it. Don't debug a running production line you're not authorized to touch.

AI assistant terms

AI answers are diagnostic suggestions generated from the data you send — verify before acting on them. Quotas (explanations/extractions per month) are anti-abuse limits, not billing meters; unused quota doesn't roll over. Cancel anytime; the core app is unaffected.
